Sports Massage is a specific treatment aimed towards an injury, rehabilitation, adhesion’s, tightness or chronic pain.
The focus is determined on the patient’s requirements as overtraining may prevent the muscles to relax, therefore resulting in long-term pain and discomfort.
Under the umbrella of a Sports Massage is “Pre and Post” before & after an event/training session) in which an athlete or somebody who commits to a lot of training, whether it be a boxer, runner, cyclist or a consistent gym goer would benefit from this.
This form of massage can also release your muscles that or unnaturally stuck within a very uncomfortable posture for a long period of time, this occurrence is usually from sitting at a desk, driving or stood on your feet all day.

Pat is a fully qualified Massage Therapist (VTCT & FHT)
Coming out of the Manchester school of Massage along with a history of fitness and varying degrees of massage, he is constantly expanding his knowledge with soft & deep tissue, Swedish, Sports and pregnancy massage, more recently with myofascial dry cupping, taping & strapping (kinesiology) and Hot Stone Massage.
From previously helping people recover from injuries, knots, ailments and strict mobility, this ultimately sparked a new passion in massage and led Pat to pursue Massage Therapy further on a professional level.
